Whether born-digital or ink on linen, historical architecture and landscape architecture records are beginning to experience a greater appreciation than ever before among archivists, researchers, students, and practicing professionals. But how do we communicate with contemporary architects and landscape architects about preserving their work and transferring it to archival custody? Nationally-recognized professionals in architecture and landscape architecture will discuss the planning process of donating their own work as well as how they were able to save valuable records from other firms and governmental agencies. An archivist will discuss collection development and strategies to ensure these vital records survive.
