In the Vermillion County finals Blanford met the Clinton Baptists three times. In the first match Blanford won 8 to 7 with Clinton forfeiting in the 12th inning. The second match was won by Blanford 13 to 5 and the third match was won by Blanford 7 to 5. In the district level the Blanford Cubs went against the Terre Haute Blue Devils on July 6 and won 6 to 5. On July 23 the Cubs met Jasonville in Sectionals and won 7 to 3. Then on July 24 they met Evansville and won 26 to 6. On July 26 played first the Indianapolis St. Phillys and won 17 to 3 and then on the same day played Gary and won 14 to 12. On August 9 the Blanford Cubs played Chicago Marine Post team and lost 12 to 5 in Inter-state play.
