Description	This page from the 1935 Sycamore yearbook highlights the women basketball program. The paragraph below the picture states that basketball was the most popular winter sport. Two tournaments were played during the year. One was a school wide tournament with teams from the sororities and independent teams. Delta Sigma won the sorority tournament and the Dormites won the independent tournament. There was also a tournament between the classes which the Junior class won with the Sophomores coming in second. Margaret Gisolo was the chairman of the sport for the 1934-1935 school year. The women in the picture in the first row are from left to right Hastler, Hildebrand, K. Boling, Tarvin, Goodwin, Pound, Snyder, and Johnson. The women in the second row are from left to right Yates, Irvine, Forsythe, Ferris, Flack, Stasko, J. Smith, and Dudley. The women in the third row are from left to right Gisolo, Schultz, Chenowith, Felling, Prust, R. Smith, Concannon, McNaught, Dierdorf, Rudolph, and Stinson.
