SEELYVILLE, IND. The Ladies' Birthday club gave a masked party at the home of Mrs. Mont Tabor Monday evening. Those attending were Madames Milburn, Mullins, Fields, Highams, Maxwell, McCann, Crabb, Grubaugh, Shull, Thomas, Hyde, Spears, Fagg, Trent, Hessler, Baker, Kearshner, Kellar and the hostess, Mrs. Tabor. Refreshments of sandwiches, doughnuts and pie were served. Mrs. Everett Cade, Mrs. Herschel Dickerson, Mrs. Lee Wyatt, and Mrs. George Wyatt attended "The Haunted House" at the Hippodrome theater in Terre Haute Wednesday. Mrs. Rose Hyde visited her daughter, Mrs. Mandy Larkins, in Riley, Wednesday. Mrs. Jas Prichard and daughter, Erma, were dinner guests Friday of Mrs. Ethel Mullins. Mrs. Harve Ferand and daughter, Blanche, visited Mrs. Caldwell Thursday. Miss Erma Prichard visited Glen high school Thursday. Mrs. Clifford Helton, of Terre Haute, spent Saturday and Sunday with Mrs. Betty File. Mr. and Mrs. Ollie Rooney spent Sunday in St. Louis, Mo. Harley Shull, of California, visited his mother, Mrs. Sarah Shull, of this place while enroute to Detroit. Mr. and Mrs. Chester Hyde, of Terre Haute, spent Sunday with the former's mother, Mrs. Rose Hyde. Mr. and Mrs. Kindred and children attended a surprise Sunday at the home of Mrs. Clarence Davis, of Lodi. Quite a number from here attended the dedication of Glenn high school Thursday evening.
