Jackson, of Glen Ayr, attended the Pocahontas supper here Tuesday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Andy Houston and children spent Wednesday in Terre Haute. Dr. and Mrs. Clyde Carmichael, and daughter, Gertrude, visited Mrs. W. S. Burgan, of East Glenn, Monday. Mrs. Blanche Bredell, Mrs. Harry Laughner spent Wednesday with Mrs. Modesitt, of West Terre Haute. Miss Audrey West, of Terre Haute, and Mrs. Henderson, of Illinois, visited relatives here Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. James Adams, and son, of Terre Haute, were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Clem Jones, south of here, Tuesday. Mrs. Lemuel Galey was pleasantly surprised Friday and reminded of her birthday anniversary when a number of friends gathered at her home with presents and baskets of good things to eat.
