1936 GRAD MEETS WITH TRAGEDY Jack Wright, a Glenn graduate of 1936, met with a tragic accident on the morning of Jan. 2, when the car in which he was driving skidded from the road and later claimed his life and that of a girl companion. While remaining in the car waiting for aid, carbon monoxide gas escaped from the exhaust pipe which was stuck in the mud and when help finally came, the two could not be revived. Jack served overseas with the Army Medics and spent many months in Australia. He worked as a dental technician before his death. Jack was one of three sons of Mrs. Wright, Glenn's first grade teacher.
