Brayer, of Terre Haute. Clifford Latta, of Eagles, was the guest of his parents Sunday and Monday. Miss Elizabeth Cogan returned Monday from a visit with her grandmother in Clinton. Mrs. Rose Folk visited friends in Terre Haute Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. N. Merlin, Mr. and Mrs. Famous Williams, Miss Marchees Stephens left Friday for a fishing trip on the Wabash river. Miss Margaret Watts, of Ehrmandale visited Mr. and Mrs. J. Laughner Sunday. Miss Mary Burt returned home Tuesday evening from Burnett, Ind. Mrs. James Cogan and son spent Monday at St. Mary's with her mother. Miss Naomi Harrington visited relatives in Brazil Sunday. Mrs. J. P. Dagan and daughter, Margaret, Mrs. Frank Moore and son, Wayne, Misses Effie Shepherd, Mabel Ellingwood, May Burt, Horace Rutherford were a party that enjoyed an all-day outing in Dickerson's woods, north of here, Thursday. Mrs. W. Herbert, of Brazil, spent Saturday with Mrs. J. M. Stephens. Mrs. Curtis Anderson and children visited relatives in Terre Haute Saturday. George Pease, Jr., was given a birthday surprise by a few of his friends Thursday. The Miller-Parrot Baking company, of Terre Haute, presented him with a mammoth cake. Among those participating were Misses Joy and Mayme Byers, Miss Naomi Harrington and Mrs. O. Latta.
