Description |
This is a transcribed account of Kurt Waywood as recorded by Heidi Wells about a female suicidal resident of Cromwell Hall at Indiana State University and a white cross which marked the window from which she jumped. The resident jumped out of the window of the twelfth story of Cromwell Hall and within a week of her death a white cross appeared below the window sill. It is said to be irremovable and the room is reportedly haunted. The informant tells of how he banged on the empty dorm room door and had heard two loud bangs from the inside of the room, saw shadows of feet pacing inside the room which the RA of the floor confirmed should have been empty. He also reports seeing a figure staring down at him from the window after the encounter. |

The informant refers to a common theme of noise, feeling that someone is there when they are not, and to unexplained noises, lights, and shapes. This was the place of a murder or suicide - a place where supernatural experiences seem to always occur. |
