Michelle DeWeese's transcribed account of the legend of Stiffy Green as collected by Janet L. Erwin. According to the legend, Stiffy was a dog who died of heartbreak shortly after his master's death. He was then stuffed and placed inside the mausoleum, which is located in Highland Lawn Cemetery in Vigo County, Indiana. |
