Description |
Daphne Coy's transcribed variant of the Vanishing Hitchhiker urban legend as collected by Joseph O. Henning. In this account, two boys see a girl walking home from prom and offer to give her a ride. Once they drop her off, they drive away but later feel bad for not seeing her to the door, so they return to make sure she got inside safely. The girl's mother explains that her daughter has been dead for two weeks and show them her grave in the backyard. The boys later discover a wet spot in their car where the girl had been sitting. |
