Description |
Jim Thompson's transcribed variant of the Vanishing Hitchhiker urban legend as collected by Sara Russell. In this account, two men see a woman walking along a road at night and ask if she would like a ride. She accepts, and the men take her home only to have her disappear when they pull up to her house. The men knock on the door, and the people who answer explain that the woman was their daughter, who had died in a car accident about a year earlier. |
