Description |
Barbara McPherson's transcribed interview of Maude McPherson about Lovers' Leap. According to McPherson, an Indian chief's daughter was in love with an Indian who was crippled and couldn't be a warrior anymore. The chief was going to force her into marrying another man, so she and her lover wrapped themselves in a blanket and jumped off of a cliff. |
