Mike Short's transcribed interview of Dave Hall about the Gypsy Queen in Marshall, Illinois. According to Hall, Marshall, Illinois, was home to many gypsies. When the last Gypsy Queen died, she was buried there. Now gypsies from all over come there to be buried near the queen. It is said that since there is gypsy royalty in Marshall, Illinois, that no natural disasters will ever happen there. |
