Description	This is Wendy Eyler's typewritten variant of the Assailant in the Backseat urban legend as collected by Teresa Smith. In this variant, a woman hears about an escaped murderer in her area while she is driving to the store to do some shopping. On the way home, she stops for gas and the attendant pulls her from the car in order to save her from the murderer who has been hiding in the back seat of her car.
