Myra Neal's transcribed interview of Walter Neal's account of some eccentric siblings in Mt. Vernon, Indiana. According to Neal, the brother and sister did not leave their house except when the brother went out to buy dog food and pick through trash. When the brother wasn't seen for a few days, people went looking for him and found the brother very ill and the house in poor condition. Authorities took the brother to a veteran's hospital and took the sister to a state hospital. She had not been out of the house for twenty-five years and was very interested in new technology shuch as light switches and refrigerators. |
