Title |
Moore, Samuel 1921-07-08 |
Abstract |
Letter from Jacob Panken on New York City Municipal Court letterhead, 7/8/1921. Tells Moore that his lot is not an enviable one. Says that spending 29 years in prison is to have spent "more than a life-time there." Writes that Moore is wrong to say that he is friendless because any "person who has had the privilege of basking in the rays of kindness and friendliness radiated" by Eugene V. Debs can hardly claim to be friendless. Remarks that he is sending Moore some toothpaste, a comb, a pipe, and some soap. Includes a note from Eugene V. Debs asking that Theodore Debs save this letter. |
