Abstract |
Letter from Eugene V. Debs to "To Whom It May Concern" 2/2/1923. Writes that he personally knows Samuel Moore, having spent over two years serving at the same penitentiary where Moore was also a prisoner. Says that he has "not the slightest hesitation" is declaring for Moore's unconditional release. Remarks that Moore has spent over 30 years being brutalized behind bars. Writes that should Moore be released with the proper encouragement he would definitely become a useful member of society. |
