Mooney, Thomas J. 1939-01-08 |
Abstract |
Letter from Theodore Debs, 1/8/1939. Writes that the "glorious day of Justice--long, long, bludgeoned into the mire by the cold-blooded, brutal and criminal interests which have ruled and robbed the people of California for more than half century--has finally come to make atonement, as far as this may be possible, for the monstrous wrong of which you have been the cruelly persecuted and outraged victim for more than a score of years." Says that he congratulates Mooney on his pardon and his release from prison. |
