Letter to Eugene V. Debs on Rand School of Social Science letterhead, 10/18/1915. Writes that he is glad that Eugene V. Debs will be visiting the Rand School of Social Science on Wednesday. Assures Eugene V. Debs that his speech was an inspiration. Mentions that Eugene V. Deb's forthcoming Carnegie Hall engagement may just be the "last great meeting before we attain our political power." Says that the Socialist Party branches in New York City, New York are planning a big educational campaign to begin after the upcoming election. Asks that Eugene V. Debs mention the importance of understanding the basic principles of socialism in his speeches. |
