Abstract |
Letter to Theodore Debs, 9/12/1941. Tells Leiser that she wrote him several years ago about a book she was working on about William Ellery Leonard. Assures Theodore Debs that she has not yet abandoned the project. Mentions that her father's cousin, Martin B. Leiser, painted a portrait of Eugene V. Debs when he was in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Writes that Clarence Darrow acted as the intermediary between Eugene V. Debs and the artist. Asks that Theodore Debs give her any information that he has about this painting. |
