Abstract |
Letter to Eugene V. Debs 5/19/21. Writes that he is wondering if Harry Daugherty is serious in saying that he would push for Eugene V. Debs' release. Says that he heard that there has been a flood of protest by the American Legion at the prospect of Eugene V. Debs obtaining his freedom. Tells Eugene V. Debs that he hopes to be going to Atlanta, Georgia soon to help bring him home. Mentions that the NEW YORK call is getting ready to celebrate its thirteenth anniversary. Asks that Eugene V. Debs send a word of greeting for the NEW YORK CALLS' anniversary issue if that would at all be possible. Includes a cartoon by Ryan Walker parodying Eugene V. Debs and David Karsner. |
