Notes |
William Hope "Coin" Harvey founded both the resort of Monte Ne and the Ozark Trials Association, establishing him as a pioneer in the promotion of Arkansas tourism. Harvey was also the 1932 Liberty Party nominee for the president of the United States. He had an interest in mining, having owned a silver mine at one time, and believed that the United States should abandon the gold standard and use silver instead. |
