Abstract |
Letter to Theodore Debs, 3/3/1920. Writes that he received Theodore Debs's message to his daughter Marguerite Prevey. Tells Theodore Debs that Marguerite Prevey has spent the last two weeks in prison, pending an extradition hearing. Says that Marguerite Prevey has been treated well since being imprisoned. Writes that despite her situation Marguerite Prevey is a "Rock of Gilbralter." Expresses the hope that he will be able to arrange a bond for her. Mentions that several "thugs" from Chicago, Illinois have come for Marguerite Prevey 3 times now. Says that having spent time in prison himself he knows how much it means to get encouraging messages from fellow comrades. Asks that Theodore Debs write Marguerite Prevey at the Franklin County Jail in Columbus, Ohio. |
