Abstract	Letter to Theodore Debs, 8/8/43. Writes that while the socialist movement is weak the "spirit of Socialist comradeship is still great." Expresses hope that once the war is over the socialists can make great gains towards building the cooperative commonwealth. Assures Theodore Debs that the seeds planted by Eugene V. Debs, Victor Berger, and Morris Hillquit will one day bloom. Mentions that he recently heard from Bill Snow. Tells Theodore Debs that he heard that Seymour Stedman is "leaning towards" the Communists.
