Abstract |
Letter to Theodore Debs on City of Charleston, South Carolina, Executive Department letterhead, 9/3/20. Writes that he is an admirer of Eugene V. Debs, courage even though he does not entirely agree with Eugene V. Debs' views. Says that he thinks that it is an "outrage" that Eugene V. Debs is in prison. Tells Theodore Debs that Eugene V. Debs was "convicted by the spirit of the mob rather than the administration of justice." |
