Abstract |
Photocopy of letter from Theodore Debs, 01/02/1936. Writes that he is critical of Franklin Roosevelt for his "shilly-shallying, shifting, from right to left and back again." Tells Kate Crane-Gartz that Roosevelt's appointment of men "whose reputations reek with corruption, have added nothing to the integrity of his administration." Informs Crane-Gartz that he cannot believe Roosevelt's "staggering appropriations" for military purposes. Thinks that Roosevelt is as "one with the Capitalist class." |
