Abstract |
Letter to Theodore Debs, 12/04/1944. Writes that in the last election the Republicans managed to hold on to the House, even if by a "mere whisker." Says that John L. Lewis did not have a tremendous impact on the election in Pennsylvania. Mentions that the CHICAGO SUN gave due credit to the C.I.O. Political Action Committee for the success of Democratic candidates. Writes that Theodore Debs is probably rejoicing at the liberation of France from German forces. |
