Abstract |
Letter to Eugene V. Debs, 11/06/1920. Writes that he is sorry that Debs did not fare better in the 1920 election. Says that if Debs had been a citizen of Russia, Italy, England, or Germany his efforts on behalf of the working class would have "born fruit." Tells Debs that the American working class "stands out as the most ignorant of all." |
