Abstract |
Letter to Eugene V. Debs, 3/19/1915. Writes that he did not know that the German socialists demanded the "democratization" of the war-making power. Says that he wants to make this idea take root in the people's minds. Tells Eugene V. Debs that he hopes to have a vote on the issue of democratizing the war-making power this spring. Asks that Eugene V. Debs support his plan to prevent Morris Hillquit and his followers from defeating him. Says that Eugene V. Debs is too generous in regard to what he says of his work. |
