Sinclair, Upton 1928-01-22 |
Abstract |
Letter from Theodore Debs, 01/22/1928. Writes that he has not seen the attack made upon Sinclair in the ROCKY MOUNTAIN NEWS. Assures Sinclair that Eugene V. Debs held him in the highest regard and never questioned his "integrity, sincerity, honesty of purpose" nor condemn him for his position during the war even though Eugene V. Debs personally disagreed with it. Says that if Sinclair wants proof of Eugene V. Debs' feeling for him that he should read the article that appeared in the HALDEMAN-JULIUS WEEKLY on 01/09/1926. |
