Abstract |
Note from Eugene V. Debs to Theodore Debs, postmarked 07/26/1921. Says that he has been inspired by Winship's message. Writes that Winship is 91 years old and "in her prime." Asks that Theodore Debs tell Winship that he appreciated Winship's touching letter. Says that Abraham Lincoln was Winship's friend and that he is hers. Asks that Theodore Debs tell Winship that he will never forget her visit. Writes that it was "one of the rarest honors" of his life. |
