Abstract |
Letter to Marguerite Debs Cooper, 11/16/1945. Informs Marguerite Debs Cooper that the memorial meeting honoring Eugene V. Debs was "beautiful." Remarks that Kate Richards O'Hare spoke at the meeting as well as others. Writes that Paramount Pictures has refused the American Broadcasting System from doing a version of IMMORTAL WIFE. Says that although he does not like this decision he is at the mercy of the movie people. Tells Marguerite Debs Cooper that he and his family have moved in to a house in Beverly Hills, California. Mentions that the book is coming along slowly but that it will be something that Cooper will be proud of. |
