Abstract |
Letter to Marguerite Debs Cooper, 10/02/1946. Says that he is half-way through his book about Eugene V. Debs. Assures Cooper that the most difficult part of the story is now on paper. Remarks that he expects the completed book will be delivered to the publishers next May. Tells Cooper that Jean Stone has read the first half of the book and thinks that it is coming out "very well." Writes that the love between Eugene V. Debs and Theodore Debs is one of the most important parts of the book. Assures Cooper that he is doing justice to Theodore Debs in it. |
