Abstract |
Copy of telegram to R. G. Ridgeway, 08/11/1908. Says that neither the APPEAL TO REASON nor the APPEAL ARMY will "boost" Lincoln Steffens' article in EVERBODY'S MAGAZINE. Informs Ridgeway that he did not expect a lot of "extraneous matter" in the interview Steffens did with Eugene V. Debs. Writes that since Eugene V. Debs is the Socialist Party's candidate for President that he should speak for the organization. |
