Title |
Stone, Irving; 1947-07-18 |
Abstract |
Copy of letter from Marguerite Debs Cooper, 07/18/1947. Writes that if she had received Stone's letter dated 07/14/1947 in May she would not have been perturbed about the fictional elements in his book. Says that there never would have been any concern over the book if Stone has discussed the fictional elements with her earlier. Remarks that she was gratified to learn that the early reactions to the book are good. Assures Stone that she would not lose faith in him or do anything to prevent the success of the book since Theodore Debs was so supportive of it in his last days of life. |
