Abstract	Copy of letter from Eugene V. Debs, 07/20/1914. Says that although he is disappointed by Stewart's response that he appreciated the fairness with which he dealt with the matter. Writes that he is not surprised that Thomas J. Riley has a vindictive spirit because he has suffered much in his life. Expresses the hope that one day soon that Stewart will see his way clear to release Thomas. J. Riley from prison.
