Transcription	Crown Hill Mine #1 May 15, 1911; Mr. S.C. Stultz, Here is a picture and record of our original #1. Sam. He was bought from Marion Brown in the fall of 1902 as near as I can tell. He has never lost a shift at #1. and has worked several at #1-3. He is the oldest mule in service now owned by C.C.Co. His present driver is Charley Jones. He is now considered better than ever and has always been the best in the district. George Jackson, Stable Boss # [1]
