Abstract |
Letter to Theodore Debs on THE WORLD letterhead, 11/26/1919. Writes that he has been in jail twice over the past 2 weeks for criminal syndicalism and sabotage. Says that he and the 6 others arrested at the same time will put up a good fight. Expresses the hope that Eugene V. Debs is feeling better than the reports in the press indicate. Informs Theodore Debs that he will always view the Federal Penitentiary in Atlanta, Georgia as the place where one of America's "noblest sons" were glorified. |
