Sabbath
with her.

that the
knapsacks
that he and
other
men
left
behind
in
Resaca
turned
up
but
everything
was
missing
frim
his
except
for a
hymn
book
and a
neck
tie
. He also
tells
Lizzie
that the
Paymaster
had
stopped
by and he should
get
paid
within
the
next
few
days
.
George
also
writes
that their
mail
was
stopped
in
Nashville
and he
hopes
that
means
his
Regiment
will be
able
to
go
home
soon
.
