Description	Eleven typed pages describing the agriculture, flora, and fauna of Vermillion County, Indiana. References include Esther Clayton, Anthony Marietta, and D.L. Stitt. Agriculture includes corn, flax, wheat, corn, oats, barley, rye, Irish potatoes, sweet potatoes, buckwheat, tobacco, timothy seed, cloves seed, hay and forage, apples, pears, and peaches. Animals includes cattle, horses, mules, swine, sheep, poultry, and bees. Agricultural societies include the Vermillion County Fair Association and the Vermillion Fair Joint-Stock Society. Flora of Vermillion County includes wildflowers, poison ivy, oak, hickory, maple, elm, walnut, buckeye, beech, dogwood, cottonwood, willow, careless weed, rageweed, gooseberry, raspberry, dewberry, blackberry, wahoo, grape, buttonbush. Fauna includes: birds, duck, wood ibis, crow, oriole, towhee (found by V.H. Barnett), cardinal, tanger, purple martin, barn swallow, warbler, wren, rabbits, squirrels, raccoon, oppossum, muskrat, fox, fish. Societies include the Izaak Walton League and the Fish and Game Club. Tom Catlin, Jediah Frist, William Hegarty, and Joe Potts allow hunting on their property. the Clinton Coal Company Farms allow no hunting.
