Abstract	Letter to Eugene V Debs, 09/29/1921. Writes that he wants to once more clasp Eugene V. Debs's hand. Says that the world has changed a lot since 1914. Tells Eugene V. Debs that there are too many people who speak of the newer social order as a "vague meaningless term." Remarks that too many people who have derided the dynamics of love. Asks that Eugene V. Debs tell him if he has read any of Ralph Adams Cram's books, THE NEMESIS OF MEDIOCRITY, THE SINS OF THE FATHERS, THE GREAT THOUSAND YEARS, WALLED TOWNS, or SUBSTANCE OF GOTHIC. Mentions that Ralph Adams Cram's books are "wonderfully dynamic." Also mentions that some of Ralph Adams Cram's views are similar to those of Lincoln Phifer. Remarks that he has made a return to the truths of mysticism. Assures Eugene V. Debs that he will be a "model for untold ages as to conduct and fortitude." Tells Eugene V. Debs there is much educational work that needs to be done.
