Abstract	Letter to Theodore Debs, 12/31/1914. Writes that even though 1914 was a troublesome year for her that it has brought her much healing. Mentions that her troubled times have reaffirmed many friendships. Tells Theodore Debs that she apologizes for not answering his letters sooner. Mentions that she has "deluged" Clarence Darrow with letters regarding her situation. Remarks that she has been in prison for 8 months now and will soon be going to the prison in Canon City, Colorado. Says that her daughter still will not accept any financial aid from her. Asks that Theodore Debs tell her if anything will result in the upheaval in Terre Haute, Indiana. Mentions that the striking miners in Colorado got little good out of the federal investigation that took place there. Tells Theodore Debs that the Industrial Workers of the World's Los Angeles, California local has cleaned out its anarchists. Writes that she has learned much from the several cell mates that she has had. Says that the Common of Safety is making cutting back the number of employees working at the prison. Includes a poem titled "A Happy New Year!"
