Abstract	Letter to Eugene V. Debs, 11/26/1920. Writes that his heart goes out to Eugene V. Debs during the holidays. Tells Eugene V. Debs that he voted for him in the last election. Mentions that he voted for Peter Cooper in 1876, J. B. Weaver in 1880, 1888, and 1892, William Jennings Bryan in 1896, Wharton Barker in 1900, Eugene V. Debs in 1904 and 1908, and Allen Benson in 1916. Says that he is a reader of the NEW DAY. Mentions that the ROMAN LEADER is responsible for Eugene V. Debs's large vote in San Francisco, California. Mentions that the editor is a Sin Fein sympathizer. Writes that he heard that a San Quentin guard threatened Tom Mooney when he refused to stand up for the national anthem. Says that he sees a future for socialist work in San Francisco, California. Includes a card saying that McDermott is a Roman Catholic whose politics cannot be dictated by anyone.
