Abstract	Letter to Eugene V. Debs, 10/17/1920. Says that he knows Eugene V. Debs will excuse his bad writing since Eugene V. Debs has given his whole life to working on behalf of the poor. Tells Eugene V. Debs that he has been wanted to write him for a good many years but felt embarrassed. Remarks that he thinks of Eugene V. Debs as a brother. Assures Eugene V. Debs that his body may be in prison but that his spirit is not. Mentions that while the price of cotton and corn are going down Eugene V. Debs's popularity is going up. Informs Eugene V. Debs that in the first election after Oklahoma became a state that he voted a straight socialist ticket, despite all the ridicule that he received. Remarks that the socialists of Oklahoma have been getting the truth out in the OKLAHOMA LEADER. Tells Eugene V. Debs that the paper reminds him of Fred Warren. Also includes a note from Eugene V. Debs to Theodore Debs on envelope postmarked 10/20/1920. Writes that Reasor's letter was pure homespun genius. Asks that Theodore Debs send Reasor Eugene V. Debs's love and salutation.
