Abstract	Letter to Theodore Debs, 10/24/1927. Informs Theodore Debs that she just received the copy of WALLS AND BARS that he sent to her. Writes that she was deeply touched by his beautiful inscription. Asks that Theodore Debs let her know how his health has been lately. Mentions that it has been a year since Eugene V. Debs died. Asks that Theodore Debs tell her what he thinks happens to people when they die. Says that her mother is a reader of the NEW APPEAL. Writes that she would like to send WALLS AND BARS to every public official who could have influence in improving the jails and penitentiaries. Mentions that her son is in perfect health and that he is a constant delight to her. Says that she has not seen Kate Crane-Gartz since she went to Europe.
