Abstract	Letter to Theodore Debs, 10/10/??? ?. Asks that Theodore Debs write Otto Branstetter and tell him that he appreciated the appeal "To the Men and Women of America" which he sent. Says that the appeal "will awaken the slumberers and stir them to action." Writes that he wishes he could serve the movement "more worthily in these critical days." Asks that Theodore Debs write a West Virginia United Mine Workers' local and thank its members for their "inspiring message." Mentions that he was organizing miners twenty-five years ago and "came near" to losing his life. Also mentions that the last time he was in West Virginia he was working on behalf of the striking miners of Paint Creek and Cripple Creek.
