Abstract	Letter to Theodore Debs, 3/31/26. Says that he will be unable to write the tribute to Ella Carr as requested for the AMERICAN APPEAL. Writes that he has been threatened with deportation and has been interrogated twice by the police since his arrival in Bermuda. States that he thinks there was a secret service man on the boat trailing him. Mentions that he has written about his experiences for the AMERICAN APPEAL. Writes that he will not be surprised if he is not allowed to return to America. Mentions that there is little he can do about getting the Scripps papers to publish Morris Hillquit's opinion of his case down here. Asks Theodore Debs to send him nothing but the AMERICAN APPEAL for the rest of his stay in Bermuda. Also asks Theodore Debs to write Marion Cummings and thank her for the poem she wrote for the WORLD TOMORROW about his Cincinnati, Ohio speech. Discusses the situation he was faced with in Cincinnati, Ohio and the lengths to which the Chamber of Commerce, the American Legion, and the Klu Klux Klan went to prevent him from speaking. Writes that revising the Socialist Party's Constitution to submit the conventions will keep him give him more than enough to do while in Bermuda.
