Abstract	Letter to Eugene V. Debs on Anselm B. Kirsch Highland Stock and Fruit Farm letterhead, 4/24/21. Writes that he is sending Eugene V. Debs a photo of his son Eugene Victor Kirsch, a student at Pennsylvania State College. Says that during the Pullman Strike he thought Eugene V. Debs was a "wild-eyed anarchist." Mentions that he only learned the truth about Eugene V. Debs when he read an article by Nellie Bly in the NEW YORK WORLD. Informs Eugene V. Debs that he has been reading the APPEAL OF REASON for almost as long as it has been around. Suggests that a great socialists are not giving the Russian communists all the credit that they deserve. Says that if the German socialists had shown the same spirit of resistance as the Russian communists then the war would never have occurred. Expresses his hope that Eugene V. Debs is soon released from prison.
