Abstract	Letter from Eugene V. Debs, 11/13/25. Writes that if there are profits to divide from his last speaking tour that the National Office will get its share because Snow, the man who handled the arrangements, is as good as his word. Says that he does not care if Bertha Hale White King publishes a statement saying that Eugene V. Debs received $10,000 in payments from the Socialist Party in 1923. Assures Kirkpatrick that there is nothing to hide because that $10,000 supported both he and Theodore Debs as well as covered the expenses associated with their office in Terre Haute, Indiana. Mentions that while he was in prison "several hundred thousand dollars rolled" into the Socialist Party National Office and he made no claim on any of it. Assures Kirkpatrick that he never received any money that did not come out of the earnings of his own speaking engagements. Mentions that if Otto Branstetter was still alive he could verify this fact. Writes that he agrees with Morris Hillquit's selection as business manager of the Socialist Party. Says that Kirpatrick should use his reputation as an editorial writer to make the AMERICAN APPEAL "burn, flash, flame, scorch, build, persuade, convince, and inform."
