Writes that he is both a carpenter and a socialist. Remarks that he is not a dues-paying member of the Socialist Party. Tells Eugene V. Debs that he believes the rumor that hired non-union carpenters in Terre Haute, Indiana. Remarks that his hiring of non-union carpenters has cost Eugene V. Debs many votes. Mentions that he wants the NATIONAL RIP-SAW to use its influence to select the next Socialist Party presidential candidate, one that is "clear of all reproach." Writes that the charges against Eugene V. Debs are true and that there are 4 signed affidavits proving it.
